Suitable for industrial factory floors, warehouses, garages, parking areas, supermarkets, shopping centers, and other areas requiring high abrasion resistance and dust-free concrete surfaces.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Substrate conditions:

• The surface must meet minimum strength requirements (compressive strength ≥ 20 MPa, tensile strength ≥ 1.5 MPa).

• The substrate must be level, sound, dry, and free from contaminants, debris, and dust.

Surface preparation:

• Concrete surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned of contaminants such as dust, oil, grease, paint, and old coatings using appropriate tools and equipment.

• To facilitate deep penetration, the concrete should be dried to a suitable moisture content (≤ 12%).

• For small areas, use sandpaper to clean and roughen the surface. For large areas, use professional floor grinding/polishing machines with appropriate grinding discs or pads.

• BestSlick G85 achieves optimal performance when applied on surfaces pre-treated with BestHard SS150, BestHard SS115, or BestHard LS110 (refer to respective product datasheets).

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

• Use a sprayer or mist spray equipment to apply BestSlick G85 evenly over the entire surface at a coverage rate of 40–80 m²/kg (depending on substrate uniformity). Then use a damp cloth to spread a thin, even layer across the floor.

• Avoid walking on the treated area during application; complete one section before moving to another to optimize drying time.

• A second coat may be applied optionally. The waiting time between coats is 15–30 minutes. The second coat significantly improves gloss and resistance to discoloration. Use a high-speed polishing machine (1500–2100 rpm) with suitable pads to accelerate the reaction and enhance surface gloss.

• Substrate structure and porosity will determine the consumption rate. Porous concrete may require additional coats to achieve effective coverage.

• The floor can be opened to foot traffic after 30 minutes. Limit heavy traffic and avoid water exposure; do not cover with plastic sheets within 24 hours after application.

Notes:

• Stir the product well before use.

• Apply only a thin layer; do not over-apply.

• Do not pour water onto the floor or clean the surface within 7 days after application.

• Always conduct a small trial area to determine appropriate consumption.

CLEANING

• Clean tools and equipment with clean water and soap immediately after use and before the material cures.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• The product is alkaline and may cause irritation to sensitive skin upon prolonged contact. Wear protective gloves, masks, and safety goggles during application.

• In case of contact with eyes, nose, mouth, etc., rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention at the nearest healthcare facility.
