Surface preparation

• The surface to be waterproofed must be clean, sound, and free from oil, grease, dust, moss, excess cement, paint, old waterproofing material, and other contaminants.

• Surface defects such as cracks and voids must be repaired and patched using suitable specialized repair products from Bestmix.

• Maximum surface moisture content: 4%.

Mixing

• The product is pre-mixed; simply stir thoroughly with a low-speed mixer before use.

• Avoid high-speed stirring to prevent air entrapment in the mixture.

Application

• BestSeal PU650S Super can be applied with a brush, short-nap roller, or a suitable spraying machine.

• Primer: Use a suitable epoxy- or PU-based BestPrimer system according to the substrate moisture content.

• Topcoat: Apply one, two, or three coats of BestSeal PU650S Super at the thickness required by the design.

• To ensure waterproofing performance, apply at least 2 coats perpendicular to each other so that the material fully covers the surface to be waterproofed.

• The waiting time between the two coats is a minimum of 18 hours.

• For high waterproofing requirements, apply a minimum of 3 coats of BestSeal PU650S Super.

• For areas requiring a finishing layer over the waterproofing layer, broadcast dry quartz sand with a particle size of 0.4-0.8 mm onto the final coat while the BestSeal PU650S Super is still wet to create a rough surface and improve adhesion of the subsequent finishing material.

• For surfaces frequently exposed to UV during use, apply 2 coats of BestCoat PU714 72 hours after the final coat to protect the BestSeal PU650S Super layer.

Note

• Use up all of the product once opened.

• Never apply during rain or when there is water on the substrate surface.
