  • Gutters, balconies, terraces, and roof gardens.

  • Factory roofs, warehouses, swimming pools, water tanks, and wastewater tanks.

  • Bathroom and toilet walls and floors.

  • Concrete structures, masonry, and other stone structures.

Advantages

  • High tensile strength, adhesion strength, tear resistance, elongation, and elasticity.

  • Resistant to detergents, alkalis, animal and vegetable oils and fats, and seawater.

  • Excellent adhesion to many substrate surfaces.

  • High crack-bridging capability, ≥ 2 mm.

Application instruction

Coating system

  • Primer: Apply one coat of BestPrimer PU40S or BestPrimer PU50S, BestPrimer EP701, BestPrimer EP702, BestPrimer EP703, BestPrimer EP601, BestPrimer EP602, BestPrimer EP603, depending on the substrate moisture content.

  • Top coat: Apply one, two, or three coats of BestSeal PU454S at the thickness required by the design.

Surface preparation

  • The surface to be waterproofed must be clean, sound, and dry, with a maximum moisture content of 4.0%.

  • Remove oil, grease, dust, moss, excess cement, and other contaminants.

  • Surface defects such as cracks and voids must be repaired and patched with suitable specialized repair products from Bestmix.

Mixing

  • The product is pre-mixed; simply stir thoroughly with a low-speed mixer before use.

  • Avoid high-speed mixing to prevent entrapping air in the mixture.

Application

  • Apply BestSeal PU454S onto the prepared surface using a specialized rake, brush, short-nap roller, or pressure sprayer until the entire surface is evenly covered.

  • Apply subsequent coats at least 18 hours after the previous coat.

  • For high waterproofing requirements, apply 03 coats of BestSeal PU454S.

  • For areas requiring a finishing layer over the waterproofing, the final coat should be broadcast with dry quartz sand of 0.4-0.8 mm grain size while the BestSeal PU454S layer is still wet, to roughen the surface and improve adhesion of the subsequent finishing material.

  • For surfaces regularly exposed to UV during service, apply 02 coats of BestCoat PU714 72 hours after the final coat to protect the BestSeal PU454S layer.

Note

  • The maximum consumption rate per coat must not exceed 1.0 kg/m².

  • Once a container has been opened, it should be used up completely.

  • Never apply during rain or when there is water on the substrate.
