Application instruction
Surface preparation:
The surface must be clean, and dry. There is no dirt, grease, moss, or mold.
All of weak adhesive layers or coating and old waterproofing coats must be removed by appropriate methods.
Application:
As a primer: Diluting BestSeal PU450 with 30-45% water then sweep onto the pre-surface as above. For more professional applications, apply primers of BestBond AC301 (when directly coated on glass or ceramic) at the consumption of 0.25 ÷ 0.35 kg/m²
As a topcoat: Use a brush, roller, or spray pressure machine to apply BestSeal PU450 to entire the prepared surface with consumption of 0.5÷0.6kg/m²/layer, (depending on waterproof performance was requested). Apply at least 2 layers.
The second layer is applied in a diagonal or perpendicular direction to the previous layer, to limit the air bubble in the system and distribution materials entire surface with a uniform thickness.
For high requirements of waterproof ability, could apply 3 layers.
Note:
Mixing well before using.
Applies at least 2 layers of the product. The second layer must be completed within 12-48 hours after finished the previous coating.
Do not apply in rainy conditions. In case it rains during construction, the construction work should be stopped immediately and promptly cover the construction area from being directly affected by rainwater.
For the surface area that frequently has mechanical impact or UV (ultraviolet) rays during use, it is recommended to apply a layer of cement- sand mortar mixed with BestLatex R114, BestLatex R126, or BestSeal B12 with cement (after applying the final layer for 72 hours) to protect damage structure for the BestSeal PU450 coat.
BestSeal PU450 is self-curing and does not require water to moisten the surface after application.
Cleaning:
Clean tools and equipment with clean water after work and before the mixture hardens.
Safety:
The product can cause an allergic reaction to sensitive skin with long contact. Should wear gloves, and mask, and glasses while applying the product.
In case of contact with the eyes, nose, and mouth ... should be washed with clean water several times before going to the nearest medical facility for timely and correct
adjustment.
