BestSeal PS410
Elastic Sealant, polysulphide base, two components
Advantages:
- Well adhesion on different surface materials if using the appropriate primer.
- High toughness, high anti-tear properties.
- High elongation, high elasticity, meet the requirements eliminate vibration, eliminate stress, higher marginal displacement (to 25% width of joint), recovered its original size without reducing adhesion strength of the surface.
- Can be applied both indoors and outdoors.
- Water resistance (including salt water), and chemical resistance as vegetable oils, lubricants, and liquid fuels.
- Large working range (-20oC ÷ +80oC).
- Non-saggy down, non-saggy when the application for vertical plane or ceiling.
- Easy to repair, allowing to coat directly other waterproof materials on the surface.
- Non-toxic, non-polluting sources of water (including drinking water) when contacting directly with the material.
- Non-toxic to construction workers, environmentally friendly.

Application instruction
SURFACE PREPARATION
The substrate surfaces of the joints to be sealed must be sound and dry. Contaminants, debris, grease, dust… must be completely removed by suitable methods before applying BestSeal PS410.
For highly absorbent substrates such as concrete, cement brick, fired clay brick... at least one coat of BestPrimer AC409 must be applied at least 120 minutes before BestSeal PS410 application to improve surface adhesion strength.
If continuous water leakage is present, the leakage hole must be widened with a depth at least 1.5 times the diameter of the opening and sealed using BestSeal CE201 before applying BestSeal PS410.
To control the required sealing depth of BestSeal PS410, suitable polyethylene foam backer rods should be used at the joint bottom.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Mixing:
Before application, Components A and B must be thoroughly mixed in the correct ratio using a slow-speed electric mixer (300 ÷ 400 rpm). Minimum mixing time is 5 minutes, but mixing may continue longer until a fully homogeneous consistency is achieved (without color streaks).
Application:
Apply one or two coats of BestPrimer AC409 onto both sides of the joint surfaces and allow curing for approximately 180 minutes (for highly absorbent materials such as concrete, cement-sand mortar, cement brick, fired clay brick...).
Load the thoroughly mixed BestSeal PS410 into the cartridge cylinder of a sealant gun to completely fill the joint volume. Use a steel or plastic trowel to remove excess material and smooth the surface. To avoid material staining on both sides of the joint edges and maintain aesthetics, self-adhesive masking tape should be applied along both sides of the joint before application and removed immediately after completion.
Note:
The substrate surface must be dry and free from moisture.
Do not use mixed material that has exceeded its allowable working time and begun curing.
Do not add any other materials into BestSeal PS410 during use.
CLEANING
Use BestThinner SC01 to clean tools immediately after use and before the material begins to cure. Once cured, use appropriate mechanical methods for cleaning tools.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Both components are non-toxic. However, they may cause allergic reactions on sensitive skin after prolonged contact. Gloves, masks, and safety goggles should be worn during application.
In case of contact with eyes, nose, mouth… rinse immediately several times with clean water before going to the nearest medical facility for timely and proper treatment.
Dispose of the product in accordance with local environmental protection and waste management regulations.
