BestSeal PS014

BestSeal PS014 is used for waterproofing all common construction materials such as:

• Low-fired clay products such as: roofing tiles, decorative bricks, floor tiles (terracotta tiles), flower pots...

• Antique-style decorative products made from cement mortar, lightweight concrete, terrazzo stone, granite cladding...

• Cement plaster mortar, painted walls, brick walls…

• Gypsum ceilings and gypsum-based products.

• Mineral-based thermal insulation materials...

• High waterproofing performance with long service life.

• Transparent, colorless, and non-film-forming.

• Does not alter the color, surface condition, or aesthetic appearance of the substrate.

• Widely applicable to many different materials.

• Simple and easy to use.

• Stable quality with high economic efficiency.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

• The surface to be waterproofed must be dry, clean, and free from dust, grease, or old waterproofing layers.

• Loose particles or poorly adhered layers must be removed completely.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Application:

• Use a brush, roller, low-pressure spray equipment, or directly immerse the material to be waterproofed into the BestSeal PS014 solution. Depending on the substrate structure, site conditions, and available equipment, select the most suitable application method.

• Depending on the water absorption rate (or porosity) of the substrate, the immersion time or number of spray/brush applications may vary to achieve the desired penetration depth of BestSeal PS014. Preliminary testing should be conducted for each type of substrate.

• The application area of BestSeal PS014 must be well ventilated so that BestSeal PS014 can adequately react with CO₂ in the air to achieve optimal waterproofing performance. Higher ambient temperatures help enhance the effectiveness of BestSeal PS014.

• BestSeal PS014 achieves optimal waterproofing performance after drying for at least 24 hours from the time of application.

• BestSeal PS014 must not be applied during rain unless adequate shelter is provided.

Note:

• Use BestSeal PS014 only on final finished surfaces. Do not use BestSeal PS014 on surfaces that will later require additional finishing materials, as BestSeal PS014 prevents bonding between layers.

CLEANING:

• Clean tools and equipment immediately after completion using clean water and soap.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

• BestSeal PS014 is an alkaline solution and may severely irritate skin (even when diluted). Gloves, masks, and safety goggles must be worn during use.

• In case of contact with skin, eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse immediately several times with clean water and seek medical attention at the nearest healthcare facility for timely and proper treatment.
