BestSeal MS150P

• Bonding PVC and FPO waterproofing membranes to concrete and cement-based mortar substrates.

  Bonding wooden flooring boards and vinyl flooring sheets.

  Bonding synthetic leather, LDPE, HDPE sheets, and various other plastic sheets.

  Bonding mineral fiber panels for sound insulation and thermal insulation purposes.

• One-component, pre-mixed, cold-applied (no heat or flame required).
  Withstands harsh weather conditions, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
  Good adhesion to a wide range of materials.
  Prevents lateral water migration between the waterproofing membrane and the concrete substrate.
  Provides excellent waterproofing performance and high tear resistance.
  Thixotropic properties.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

• For concrete substrates:
  Compressive strength ≥ 20 MPa, tensile strength ≥ 1.5 MPa; the surface must be dry, sound, free from dust, oil, grease, curing compounds, and without defects such as honeycombing, voids, or cracks.

• For other substrates:
  The surface must be dry and free from dust, contaminants, and grease. Any weak cementitious layers or poorly adhered old coatings must be completely removed to ensure proper adhesion.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Application:

• Use a fine notched trowel (1–2 mm) to evenly spread BestSeal MS150P onto the substrate.
  Apply the membrane using the “carpet laying” method while the adhesive is still wet (before skin formation).
  Use a roller or a soft trowel to firmly press the membrane onto the coated surface.
  After BestSeal MS150P has cured, heat welding of the waterproofing membrane can be carried out (if required).

Notes:

• Remove excess material at overlaps before the adhesive cures.
  Depending on the application, the adhesive may be applied on the substrate, on the membrane, or on both.
  Application should be carried out by professional contractors.
  Do not apply on bitumen, natural rubber, EPDM rubber, or surfaces contaminated with oil or solvents that may affect the product.
  Do not apply on wet or damp substrates.
  Avoid contact with isocyanates, solvents, aggressive cleaning agents, or release agents.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

• BestSeal MS150P may cause allergic reactions on sensitive skin upon prolonged contact. Protective gloves, masks, and safety goggles are recommended during application.

• In case of contact with eyes, nose, mouth, etc., rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention at the nearest healthcare facility.

• Dispose of the product in accordance with local environmental regulations.
