Application instruction
Surface preparation:
The surface must be thoroughly cleaned of dust, mud, oil/grease, moss/algae, mold, etc.
All surface defects and bumps, hollows and cracks must be repaired properly.
The application surface may be dry or damp, but no standing water should be left on the surface.
Mixing:
The product is pre-mixed; just stir well before use.
Application:
Use a brush, short-nap roller or spray gun to apply BestSeal BP411 over the entire prepared surface as described above at a coverage of 0.5 ÷ 0.6 kg/m²/coat.
Application must ensure the entire surface to be waterproofed is covered with an even, thick coat free of pinholes.
For waterproofing, apply 2 – 3 coats. Wait for each coat to surface-dry before applying the next, in a direction perpendicular or diagonal to the previous coat.
Notes:
Do not apply on surfaces with standing water.
Do not apply in rainy conditions. If it rains during application, stop immediately and promptly cover the freshly applied area to protect it from direct rainwater.
Surfaces subject to direct foot traffic must be covered with a cement-sand mortar mixed with BestLatex R114 or BestLatex R126 after applying BestSeal BP411.
Do not dilute the product with water or any other components.
Close the container tightly after use.
Cleaning:
Clean tools and equipment with clean water immediately after finishing the work while the product is still wet; use solvent once the product has dried.
