BestSeal AC403
Two-component waterproofing and sealing compound
Advantages:
Optimal hardness, adhesion, and crack resistance.
Fast drying time, saving waiting time and avoiding weather-related risks.
Does not crack or peel due to material expansion and contraction under thermal stress.
Bonds well with all silicate-based surfaces.
Water resistant and highly resistant to mechanical abrasion, with long-lasting durability.
Simple to apply, easy to cure, saving time and labor.
Fast film formation, allowing the structure to be put into service quickly.
Non-hazardous to applicators.
Non-toxic and does not pollute water sources upon direct contact.

Two-component waterproofing and sealing compound
BestSeal AC403 is a two-component waterproofing and sealing compound that, once reacted, forms a silicate composite mixture with optimal hardness, toughness, and adhesion, and notably does not age over time.
BestSeal AC403 provides high bonding and adhesion to all silicate-based material surfaces such as: brickwork, render mortar, plaster, concrete, etc.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Surface conditions:
The surface to be waterproofed, sealed, or repaired must be dense and sound; contaminants, debris, oil, grease, dust, etc. must be cleaned as required. Surface material layers with poor adhesion or no strength must be completely removed and treated using the correct method before applying BestSeal AC403.Surface preparation:
If the surface has cracks wider than 5 mm, they must be pre-treated by chasing them open to a minimum width of 10 mm and a minimum depth of 1.5 times the width of the chase. The cross-section of the chase should be U-shaped. Use compressed air or high-pressure water to clean the chase surface of dust, burrs, etc. before using specialized BestBond mortars to fill the chase. If the surface has continuous running water leakage, the leak hole must be chased open to a minimum depth of 1.5 times the diameter of the hole opening, and the water leakage must be stopped using BestSeal CE201 before applying BestSeal AC403.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Mixing:
Before application, Components A and B must be thoroughly mixed at the correct ratio using a low-speed electric mixer (300 ÷ 400 rpm). Pour Component A first into a clean plastic (or steel) container with a minimum capacity of 15 litres, then gradually add Component B while mixing, until the mixture is homogeneous. The minimum mixing time is 5 minutes, but mixing may continue longer until the required homogeneity is achieved.
When used as a sealing, repair, or patching compound for surface defects, the A/B mixing ratio is (0.75 ÷ 0.80)/2.0 (by weight).
Application:
Use a stiff-bristle brush or a high-pressure spray nozzle to apply the mixed compound onto the surface to be waterproofed (the thickness of each coat must not exceed 1 mm). Apply the next coat after the previous one has surface-hardened (approximately 30 minutes ÷ 04 hours, depending on temperature, weather, and ventilation conditions during application). When used for sealing, repair, or patching, first apply one coat of Component A onto the surface, wait until the surface is dry, then use a steel trowel to apply the mixture.
If applying in sunny and windy conditions, the moisture-curing conditions must be strictly observed, the same as for other cement-based products, once the material surface begins to dry.
Note:
Before application, the material surface must be dampened with clean water, but no standing water should be allowed on the surface.
A minimum of two coats of BestSeal AC403 must be applied to waterproof the surface.
The second coat is applied perpendicular to the first coat.
Do not use any portion of the mixture that has exceeded its working time and has begun to set.
Do not add any other material to BestSeal AC403.
CLEANING
Use water to clean tools immediately after use and before the mixture begins to set. Then rinse again with clean water and soap. Once the mixture has set, use appropriate mechanical methods to clean tools.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Both components are non-toxic and non-flammable.
BestSeal AC403 may cause allergic reactions on sensitive skin after prolonged contact. Masks, gloves, and safety goggles should be worn when using the product.
In case of contact with eyes, nose, mouth, etc., rinse immediately several times with clean water before going to the nearest medical facility for timely and proper treatment.
