Applications
BestPrimer PU50S is used as an interfacial primer between substrates such as concrete, mortar, stone, etc., and protective or waterproofing coatings from the BestCoat and BestSeal ranges (epoxy, polyurethane, or polyurea), in order to enhance adhesion strength between layers.
BestPrimer PU50S can be applied on concrete floors, cementitious renders, fiber cement boards, epoxy mortars, etc., in areas such as factories, warehouses, garages, parking areas, rooftops, gutters, terraces, and similar applications.

Application instruction
SURFACE PREPARATION
The substrate must meet the minimum strength requirements (compressive strength ≥ 20 MPa, tensile strength ≥ 1.5 MPa).
The surface must be level, sound, and dry (maximum moisture content of 4%). All contaminants, debris, and dust must be properly removed.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Coating system:
For highly absorbent or weak substrates, apply at least 2 coats of primer.
For smooth, dense substrates with moderate roughness, apply 1 coat of BestPrimer PU40S after proper surface preparation.
For surfaces treated with hardeners, dilute BestPrimer PU40S with 5–10% BestThinner SC01 before application.
Application:
Apply BestPrimer PU40S evenly over the entire surface using a brush, roller, or airless spray equipment.
Notes:
Apply only the required amount according to the substrate’s absorption capacity; do not over-apply or allow ponding on the surface.
Ensure proper ventilation during application and work in the direction of airflow. Do not smoke and keep away from heat sources and sparks during application.
CLEANING
Use BestClean SC003 to clean tools immediately after use and before BestPrimer PU40S begins to cure.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The product is classified as hazardous and flammable. Keep away from heat sources, sparks, and open flames during application and storage.
The product may cause irritation to sensitive skin upon prolonged contact. Wear protective gloves, masks, and safety goggles during application.
In case of contact with eyes, nose, mouth, etc., rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention at the nearest healthcare facility.
Dispose of excess material in accordance with local regulations.
