Application instruction

SURFACE PREPARATION

  • The substrate must meet the minimum strength requirements (compressive strength ≥ 20 MPa, tensile strength ≥ 1.5 MPa).

  • The surface must be level, sound, and free from standing water. Any ponded areas must be dried using a clean cloth.

  • All contaminants such as debris, dust, oil, grease, algae, and mold must be properly removed.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Coating system:

  • For highly absorbent or weak substrates: apply at least 2 primer coats.

  • For dense substrates with moderate roughness: apply 1 coat.

  • For polished surfaces: mechanically roughen or treat with BestCleaner FA before applying BestPrimer EP701.

Mixing:

  • Add component B to component A according to the specified ratio. Use an electric mixer or specialized mixer (speed 300 to 400 rpm) to mix the material for approximately 3 minutes or longer until the mixture is homogeneous. Let the material stand for a minimum of 10-15 minutes and mix again before application.

Application:

  • Can be applied using a brush, short-nap roller, or spray equipment.

  • Notes:

    • Do not use material that has exceeded its pot life.

    • Ensure adequate ventilation during application and work in the direction of airflow.

    • Do not smoke during application.

Cleaning:

  • Clean tools, equipments with clean BestThinner SC01 before product hardening

Safety:

  • Both components are classified as hazardous and flammable and may cause allergic reactions on sensitive skin. Wear protective gloves, masks, and safety goggles during application. Avoid direct skin contact.

In case of contact with eyes, nose, mouth, etc., rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention at the nearest healthcare facility.

Keep away from fire, sparks, and heat sources during application.
