Application instruction
SURFACE PREPARATION:
General requirements:
For highly absorbent or weak substrates: dilute BestPrimer AC406 with clean water (maximum 5%) before application.
For dense substrates with moderate roughness: do not dilute with water during application.
Substrate conditions:
Concrete (or mortar) must meet compressive and tensile strength requirements suitable for the intended application.
The surface must be free from standing water; any ponded areas must be dried using a clean cloth.
All contaminants such as debris, dust, oil, grease, algae, and mold must be properly removed.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Apply one coat of BestPrimer AC406 over the entire surface using a brush, roller, or spray equipment at a coverage rate of 0.10–0.20 kg/m² (depending on substrate condition). For optimal performance, ensure even distribution and complete coverage without missed areas.
Before applying subsequent materials, ensure the primer is fully dry (transparent, hard, and non-tacky).
Notes:
Do not allow the product to pond on the surface. After 5–10 minutes, recheck the surface. If areas remain milky (not yet transparent) due to pooling, spread thinly using a roller or brush.
Ensure adequate ventilation during application. Stir or shake well before use.
CLEANING:
Clean tools immediately after use and before the material cures using water and soap.
SAFETY:
BestPrimer AC406 is not classified as hazardous or flammable. However, it may cause irritation to sensitive skin upon prolonged contact.
Wear protective gloves, masks, and safety goggles during application.
In case of contact with eyes, nose, mouth, etc., rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention at the nearest healthcare facility.
