• Increase the waterproofing capacity for slurry coat and a cement-sand system.
• Increasing significantly the bonding and adhesion strength of each material and new to old concrete.
• Minimize shrinkage and cracks. Increase elasticity for the cement-sand system.
• Increase chemical corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance for flooring screeding mortar.
• As a repair layer which are solve small cracks and small defects on the surface.
• Stable under an alkane environment. Stable under exposure to UV rays.
• Non-toxic, non-pollution. It could be applied for waterproofing in a project which is directly in contact with water.

Surface preparation: 

• The surface must be clean, and remove dust, laitance, grease, and any other contaminants.

• If the surface is not rough enough, roughen the surface by using suitable mechanical methods before application. Saturate an entire surface with clean water but no water remains.

Material preparation:

• Aggregation (sand) must be selected carefully and clean, and the particle size of sand must be suitable for the width of grout and the requirement of surface fineness when applied. 

For Waterproofing and old to new concrete bonding slurry: 

Mixing ratio: 

• 1 L BestLatex R126 + 1.5 L Water + 5 kg Cement = 4.1 L Slurry

Application: 

• Pour the cement into the mixture BestLatex R126 and water (prequantified), and use a paddle to mix until homogeneous. Apply the connected layer of 1 - 2mm thickness on the water-saturated surface first and pour new concrete or plaster the waterproofing mortar as soon as the cement slurry-BestLatex R126 is wet. 

Consumption:

• 1 liter of BestLatex R126/ approx. 5 m² applicable. 

For waterproofing mortar: 

• Mixing ratio: 1 L BestLatex R126 + 4.5 L water + 9 kg Cement + 27 kg sand= 41.5 kg mortar. 

Application: 

• Apply the waterproofing mortar layer as soon as the waterproofing slurry layer is still wet.

Consumption: 

• 1 liter of BestLatex R126 / 2 m² / 1 cm of thickness. 

Caution: 

• BestLatex R126 must always be used with cement, and should not be used alone as an independent adhesive agent. Sand must be clean, free of dust, and have a suitable size of particles. Do not use cement which is time over and slumping.
