  • Improves resistance to abrasion.
  • Improves resistance to impact.
  • Improves resistance to oils and greases.
  • Improves smoothness.
  • Reduces dust formation.

Application instruction

SURFACE PREPARATION:

  • The concrete must be designed with technical properties suitable for its intended use. During concrete placement, vibration compaction and surface leveling must be carried out in accordance with required standards.

APPLYING PROCEDURE:

  • BestHard SP7 should be applied manually in two layers. Typically, about 2/3 of the total quantity is used for the first layer, and the remaining for the second layer.

  • When bleed water on the concrete surface starts to evaporate and the concrete reaches a plastic state (before initial setting), perform initial troweling to level the surface while minimizing the mixing of cement slurry onto the surface of BestHard SP7 at later stages.

  • After initial troweling, evenly broadcast the first layer onto the concrete surface. Wait until BestHard SP7 has absorbed sufficient moisture from the concrete, darkens in color, and the concrete reaches the required plastic consistency (without excessive indentation). Then use a power trowel at low speed with minimal blade angle to press the BestHard SP7 into the concrete surface until a uniform wet slurry appears.
BestHard SP7 should be applied first in areas that dry quickly such as column bases, wall bases, doorways, and windows.

  • Continue applying the second layer immediately after finishing the first layer. Ensure that any areas with insufficient coverage from the first layer are compensated to achieve full and uniform coverage. Troweling is carried out similarly to the first layer, with appropriate adjustments to blade angle and rotation speed.

Finishing:

  • For higher gloss, increase the blade angle and trowel at higher speed.

  • Color uniformity, gloss level, and mechanical properties depend significantly on the application process. Proper execution ensures optimal results.

Curing:

  • Immediately after application, curing must be carried out to prevent rapid moisture loss that may cause surface cracking. It is recommended to use BestCure curing compound to prevent cracking and surface discoloration, especially for colored BestHard SP7.

Notes:

  • Variations in concrete components such as water content and cement quality may result in slight color differences.

  • BestHard SP7 provides a finished concrete surface, where some color variation across the floor may occur due to natural variations in concrete and product consumption rates.

CLEANING:

  • Clean tools and equipment immediately after use and before the material cures, using clean water and soap. Once hardened, cleaning can only be done by appropriate mechanical methods.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

  • The material is alkaline and may cause skin irritation upon direct contact. Wear rubber gloves, safety goggles, and a mask during application.

  • In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention at the nearest healthcare facility.
