Applications
BestHard SP7 is used to reinforce the surface of concrete floors, slabs and panels in order to improve abrasion resistance, prevent scratching and reduce surface dusting during use, for items such as:
Warehouse and factory floors.
Garages and parking lots.
Docks, etc.

Application instruction
Surface preparation:
The designed concrete must have technical properties suitable for the intended use. During concrete placement, vibration and surface leveling must be performed correctly.
Application:
BestHard SP7 should be applied by hand in two layers. Typically about 2/3 of the BestHard SP7 is used for the first layer and the remainder for the second.
As soon as the bleed water on the concrete surface begins to dry and the concrete becomes plastic (before initial set), carry out a preliminary float to level the surface and minimize cement mortar contaminating the BestHard SP7 surface later.
After preliminary floating, spread the first layer evenly onto the concrete. Wait until BestHard SP7 has absorbed enough moisture from the concrete and darkened, the concrete reaches the required plastic consistency and does not sink deeply, then use a low-speed power float with the blade at a minimal tilt to press the BestHard SP7 powder into the concrete surface until an even wet mortar layer appears. Apply BestHard SP7 first in fast-drying areas such as column bases, wall bases, doorways and windows, etc.
Apply the second layer immediately after floating the previous one. However, top up any areas missed in the first layer to ensure the surface is fully covered and uniform in color. Floating is carried out as for the first layer, adjusting the rotation speed and blade tilt as appropriate.
Polishing:
For high gloss, increase the blade tilt appropriately and float at a higher rotation speed.
Color uniformity, gloss and mechanical properties depend heavily on the application process. Following the proper procedure gives the best results.
Curing:
Immediately after application, carry out curing to prevent early water loss that causes surface cracking. Use a BestCure product for curing to avoid cracking and surface staining of BestHard SP7.
Notes:
Properties of the concrete components, such as water content and cement quality, may cause slight color variation.
BestHard SP7 produces a finished surface on the concrete in which some color variation appears across the whole floor. This is due to the natural variation of the concrete and the product coverage rate.
Cleaning:
Clean tools and equipment with clean water and soap immediately after finishing and before the material cures. Once cured, clean only by suitable mechanical means.
Safety guidance:
The material is alkaline and may cause skin irritation on direct contact. Wear rubber gloves, safety goggles and a mask during application.
If the product splashes into the eyes, rinse with plenty of clean water several times and go to the nearest medical facility for timely and proper treatment.
