BestGrout CE625AW

Anti-washout, non-shrink, high-strength, cement-based grout

Advantages:

  • A ready-formulated compound that only requires mixing with a metered amount of clean water, offering stable quality, economy, and ease of use.

  • Good anti-washout capability, reducing risks during underwater application due to segregation, layer separation, or washout.

  • Self-flowing, self-compacting, high water displacement, and effective filling.

  • No shrinkage during curing and strength development, good dimensional stability, and no separation at the contact joint with the structure.

  • Rapid strength development, allowing quick return to service.

  • Easy to apply using simple tools and methods.

  • Odorless and non-toxic to the health of applicators.

  • Chloride-ion-free, non-corrosive to reinforcing steel.

  • Non-toxic and does not pollute domestic water sources upon direct contact with the material.

Application instruction

SURFACE CONDITION

  • The surface must be clean, sound, and free from oil, grease, moss, mold, or other contaminants.

  • Damage and cracks must be repaired using proper methods.

FORMWORK

  • The formwork must be erected firmly and according to technical requirements.

  • Use a specialized anti-stick mold release oil.

  • Ensure the formwork does not leak mortar throughout the application process.

MIXING

  • Gradually add BestGrout CE625AW powder into the pre-metered amount of mixing water to achieve the required flowability.

  • The optimal amount of mixing water is 15% of the powder weight, equivalent to 3.75 litres of water for a 25 kg bag.

  • Use a paddle mixer at 400-500 rpm or a specialized mortar mixer.

  • Mix until the blend is homogeneous as required for application, approximately 5 minutes.

APPLICATION

  • After thorough mixing, use a steel trowel to stir gently for a few seconds to allow air bubbles to escape quickly.

  • Immediately pour the mixture into a pouring funnel with a guide pipe directed into the prepared formwork.

  • Pour continuously to maintain the required pressure for the material layer being poured and to avoid air entrapment within the structure.

  • The material drop height should be as low as possible at the initial stage.

  • At the later stage, the pouring pipe should be immersed deep into the material mass to minimize cement washout.

  • Do not use material that has exceeded the allowable application time.
