Concrete Admixtures
Paraffin-emulsion-based concrete curing compound
BestCure PE020 is an emulsified paraffin-based concrete curing compound.
After being sprayed onto freshly placed concrete, BestCure PE020 forms a thin polymer film that effectively prevents water evaporation from the concrete surface, significantly reduces plastic shrinkage, and helps the concrete hydration process proceed more completely.
BestCure PE020 is a ready-to-use product that requires no further mixing or preparation.
BestCure PE020 complies with ASTM C309 Type 1A.

Applications
BestCure PE020 is used to replace water curing for concrete immediately after placement on finished concrete surfaces where no subsequent surface treatment is required, such as exposed finished concrete.
BestCure PE020 is particularly suitable for curing concrete in transportation applications or large-area exposed finished concrete such as:
Road transportation concrete, etc.
Aviation transportation concrete: runways, taxiways, etc.
Apron and parking area concrete, etc.
Exposed concrete arches, roofs, and retaining walls, etc.
Concrete foundations, columns, bridge girders, and precast elements, etc.
Mass concrete for transportation that requires thorough curing to limit surface cracking, etc.

SURFACE PREPARATION
The concrete surface must be clean and free from dust, dirt, mud, grease, etc.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Application:
Use a low-pressure sprayer to apply BestCure PE020 evenly over the entire surface of the concrete pour immediately after the surface bleed water has evaporated. For dry concrete (zero-slump concrete), spraying of BestCure PE020 should be carried out immediately after the surface finishing work is completed.
Note: Stir thoroughly before use.
