Application instruction
SURFACE PREPARATION:
If the substrate is concrete, the compressive strength must be ≥ 20 MPa and tensile strength ≥ 1.5 MPa, and must be compatible with the actual service load of the floor. The substrate surface must be level, dense, sound, dry, and mechanically prepared by grinding or shot blasting before applying BestCoat PU800HF.
Cracks and defective areas must be properly treated, repaired, and patched in accordance with the correct procedure. All impurities, debris, and dust must be thoroughly removed.
If the substrate is metal, all grease stains and rust must be completely removed and the surface cleaned thoroughly with BestThinner SC01.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Coating System:
One suitable epoxy or polyurethane primer coat of BestPrimer, or one priming coat of BestCoat PU800MF with thickness ~1 mm.
One coat of BestCoat PU800MF with thickness according to design requirements.
Note: BestCoat PU800MF industrial flooring has extremely high tolerance to residual substrate moisture and can be applied directly onto 7-day-old concrete, or onto good-quality existing concrete with high moisture content without primer, provided there is a waterproof membrane within the slab structure.
Mixing:
Pre-mix Component A, add Component B and mix thoroughly, then add Component C (according to the specified ratio) and mix with a paddle mixer or specialized low-speed mixer (300–500 rpm) until homogeneous. Total mixing time is approximately 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
Note: Partial mixing is not recommended. The entire pre-packed set must be mixed completely.
Application:
Pour the mixed material onto the designated substrate area in consecutive strips approximately 180 ÷ 200 mm wide. Immediately use a suitable notched trowel to spread and compact the material evenly to the required thickness, then use a specialized roller to assist compaction and achieve a uniform surface texture.
Note: BestCoat PU800MF must be applied by a professionally trained applicator team certified by the manufacturer.
CLEANING:
Clean tools and equipment with a dry cloth and BestThinner SC01 before the product hardens.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
BestCoat PU800MF may cause allergic reactions to sensitive skin after prolonged contact. Protective gloves, face mask, and safety goggles should be worn during use.
In case of contact with eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water several times before going to the nearest medical facility for timely and proper treatment.
Avoid contact with food and household utensils. Keep out of reach of children. Dispose of excess material in accordance with local regulations.
