Application instruction
SURFACE PREPARATION:
For concrete substrates:
Compressive strength: ≥ 20 MPa, tensile strength: ≥ 1.5 MPa. The surface must be level, sound, dry (maximum moisture content 4%), and free from contaminants, debris, and dust, properly cleaned as required. For metal substrates:
The surface must be free from rust, oil, grease, and other contaminants such as dust and water.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Coating System:
For concrete, plaster, natural stone, and artificial stone surfaces:
01 coat of suitable epoxy or polyurethane-based BestPrimer: 0.10–0.25 kg/m²/coat (depending on substrate condition).
02 coats of BestCoat EP726: 0.15–0.20 kg/m²/coat (depending on substrate condition).
For metal surfaces:
02 coats of BestCoat EP726: 0.10–0.15 kg/m²/coat.
Mixing:
Add component B into component A according to the specified mixing ratio. Use an electric mixer or a suitable mixing device (300–500 rpm) to mix the material for approximately 3 minutes or longer until a homogeneous mixture is achieved. Allow the material to stand for about 2 minutes, then remix before application.
Application:
Can be applied using a brush, short-nap roller, or airless spray equipment.
Notes:
When dividing into smaller quantities, component A must be thoroughly mixed before weighing.
Do not use material that has exceeded its pot life or has started to cure.
For subsequent coats, if the recoat interval of the previous layer exceeds the maximum allowed time, the surface must be roughened by mechanical means before application.
CLEANING:
Use BestThinner SC-01 to clean tools immediately after application and before the material starts to cure.
SAFETY:
Both components may cause allergic reactions on sensitive skin upon prolonged contact. Protective gloves, masks, and safety goggles are recommended during use.
In case of contact with eyes, nose, mouth, etc., rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention at the nearest healthcare facility.
Dispose of waste material in accordance with local regulations.
