Applications
BestCoat EP716 is used for surface protection coatings with special requirements such as:
Flooring in chemical industrial workshops, chemical storage facilities, pharmaceutical and food processing plants, electronics assembly plants, garages, etc.
Equipment and tanks requiring high abrasion resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, erosion resistance, or meeting high food safety and hygiene standards.
BestCoat EP716 can be applied directly to metal, concrete, cementitious plaster, fiber cement panels, epoxy mortar, wood, etc.

Application instruction
SURFACE PREPARATION:
For concrete surfaces: Compressive strength: ≥ 20 MPa, tensile strength: ≥ 1.5 MPa. The surface must be flat, sound, and dry (maximum moisture content of 4%), with all contaminants, debris, and dust properly cleaned.
For metal surfaces: must be free from rust, grease, or other contaminants such as dust, water, etc.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Coating system:
For concrete, plaster mortar, natural stone, and artificial stone surfaces:
01 layer of suitable epoxy- or polyurethane-based BestPrimer: 0.10-0.25 kg/m² per layer (depending on surface condition).
02 coats of BestCoat EP716: 0.10-0.25 kg/m² per layer (depending on surface condition).
For metal surfaces:
02 coats of BestCoat EP716: 0.10-0.25 kg/m² per layer.
Mixing:
Add Component B into Component A at the specified ratio. Use an electric mixing paddle or a dedicated mixer (speed of 300 to 500 rpm) to mix the material for approximately 3 minutes or longer until the mixture is homogeneous. Let the material rest for about 02 minutes and mix again before application.
Application:
It can be applied using a brush, short-nap roller, or pressure spray gun.
Note:
When applying the second coat and beyond, if the waiting time of the previous coat has exceeded the maximum waiting time, the surface must be roughened by mechanical methods.
CLEANING:
Use BestThinner SC-01 to clean tools immediately after application and before the mixture begins to cure.
SAFETY:
Both components are classified as hazardous and flammable; keep away from heat sources, electrical sparks, or open flames during application or storage of the product.
The product may cause skin allergies on sensitive skin upon prolonged contact. Gloves, masks, and safety goggles should be worn during application.
In case of contact with eyes, nose, mouth, etc., rinse immediately with plenty of clean water several times before going to the nearest medical facility for timely and proper treatment.
Dispose of excess product at locations designated by local regulations.
