BestCoat EP709

• BestCoat EP709 is designed for applications requiring exceptionally high load-bearing capacity, chemical resistance, anti-corrosion performance, impact resistance, and strict compliance with pharmaceutical and food hygiene safety standards, such as flooring systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, biological product facilities, seafood processing plants, food processing factories, electronic assembly areas, textile factories, sterilization rooms, operating rooms, laboratories, aircraft hangars, parking garages, etc.

• BestCoat EP709 can be applied directly onto natural stone, terrazzo, wood, steel, and iron surfaces.

• Compliant with microbiological standards, food and pharmaceutical safety requirements, GMP and HACCP standards.

• Low viscosity, excellent self-leveling capability, easy application, and high efficiency.

• Resistant to heavy loads, chemicals, impact, and abrasion.

• Excellent adhesion to all cementitious substrates, natural stone, and metal surfaces.

SURFACE PREPARATION

• If the substrate is concrete, the compressive strength must be ≥ 20 MPa and the tensile strength must be ≥ 1.5 MPa. The substrate surface must be level, dense, sound, and dry (maximum surface moisture content 4%).

• Cracks and defective areas must be properly treated, repaired, and patched in accordance with the correct procedure. All impurities, debris, dust, grease, oil, etc. must be completely removed.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Coating system:

• One coat of BestPrimer EP701, BestPrimer EP702 or BestPrimer EP703.

• One self-leveling coat of BestCoat EP607 at the thickness specified in the design.

Mixing:

• Add component B into component A according to the specified ratio. Use an electric mixer or suitable mixing equipment (300–400 rpm) to mix for approximately 3 minutes or longer until a homogeneous mixture is achieved.

Note: When dividing into smaller batches, stir component A thoroughly before weighing.

Application:

• Pour the mixed material onto the corresponding floor area in parallel strips with a width of 200–300 mm, then use a suitable notched rake to spread the material evenly to the required thickness.

• Use a specialized spike roller to assist self-leveling and eliminate all entrapped air bubbles.

Note: The application area must remain dust-free and protected from insects until the material has fully cured.

CLEANING

• Clean tools before curing using a dry cloth and BestThinner SC01.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• BestCoat EP709 may cause irritation to sensitive skin upon prolonged contact. Wear protective gloves, masks, and safety goggles during application.

• In case of contact with eyes, nose, mouth, etc., rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention at the nearest healthcare facility.
