BestCoat EP707AS is a solvent-free, high-strength, anti-static epoxy-based coating with self-leveling properties and optimal gloss.

The product is formulated from 100% pure epoxy, silicate minerals to reinforce hardness, and specialized chemical additives, giving the floor surface anti-static performance, flatness, gloss, chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, and optimal load-bearing capacity.

Light gray, green, reddish brown. Custom colors are available upon request, subject to minimum order quantity.

1.60 ± 0.05 kg/litre at 25°C, depending on color.

Approximately 100%.

Consumption:

1.60 kg/m²/mm thickness.

Mixing ratio:

Component A : Component B = 7 : 1 by weight.

Packaging:

32 kg/set.

Storage:

A dry, cool place at a temperature of 5°C-35°C.

Shelf life:

12 months from the date of manufacture, in sealed original containers and stored in a cool, dry place.

Application instruction

Surface preparation

  • If the substrate is concrete, the required compressive strength is ≥ 20 MPa and the tensile strength is ≥ 1.5 MPa.

  • The floor surface must be flat, dense, sound, and dry, with a maximum moisture content of 4%.

  • Cracks and defective areas must be treated, repaired, and patched according to the proper procedure.

  • Impurities, debris, dust, and grease must be completely removed.

Coating system

  • One primer coat of BestPrimer EP702AS or BestPrimer EP703AS suitable for the moisture content of the substrate.

  • One self-leveling coat of BestCoat EP707AS at the thickness required by the design.

Mixing

  • Add Component B into Component A at the specified ratio.

  • Use an electric mixing paddle or a specialized mixer at a speed of 300-400 rpm.

  • Mix the material for about 3 minutes or longer until the mixture is homogeneous.

  • When dividing into smaller portions, Component A must be stirred thoroughly before weighing.

Application

  • Pour the mixed material onto the corresponding surface area in parallel strips 200-300 mm wide.

  • Use a suitable notched trowel to spread the material evenly to the required thickness.

  • Use a specialized spiked roller to assist with self-leveling and to remove air bubbles.

  • The application area must be kept free from dust and protected against insects throughout the time the mixture has not yet cured.

Cleaning

Use a dry cloth and BestThinner SC01 to clean before the product cures.

Safety

  • The product may cause allergic reactions on sensitive skin upon prolonged contact.

  • Wear a mask, gloves, and safety goggles when using the product.

  • If the product comes into contact with the eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse immediately several times with clean water and go to the nearest medical facility for timely treatment.

  • Avoid contact with food and household items.

  • Keep out of reach of children.

  • Dispose of excess product in accordance with local regulations.
