Application instruction
SURFACE PREPARATION:
For concrete surfaces: Compressive strength: ≥ 20 MPa, tensile strength: ≥ 1.5 MPa.
The surface must be flat, sound and dry (maximum moisture content is 4%) and free from laitance, grease, dust, and other contaminants.
For metal surfaces: Must be free of rust, grease, or other contaminants such as dust and water.
COATING SYSTEM:
For highly absorbent, porous surfaces, or surfaces polished with hardeners, a primer coat of BestPrimer EP701, BestPrimer EP702, or BestPrimer EP703 is required.
For flat, solid surfaces with medium roughness, a primer coat is not necessary, but at least two coats must be applied after the surface has been cleaned using appropriate methods.
MIXING:
Before application, components A and B must be thoroughly mixed in the correct ratio using a slow-speed stirrer (300-400 rpm). The minimum mixing time is 3 minutes, but mixing can be done longer until the desired homogeneity is achieved. Let the material stand for 5 minutes and mix again before application.
APPLICATION:
Application can be done with a brush, short-bristle roller, or pressure spray nozzle.
Note:
The larger the mixing volume, the shorter the application time. The batch can be divided into smaller lots to ensure the product's working time meets the application schedule.
When applying the second coat onwards, if the waiting time of the previous coat has exceeded the maximum waiting time, the surface must be roughened using mechanical means.
Do not use paint that has exceeded its working time and has begun to harden.
Component A must be divided into smaller lots and thoroughly stirred before application.
CLEANING:
Clean tools immediately after application and before the mixture begins to harden using BestThinner SC-01.
SAFETY:
Both components are not hazardous or flammable. However, component B is alkaline and may cause allergic reactions in sensitive skin with prolonged contact. Wear gloves, a mask, and safety glasses when using the product.
In case of contact with eyes, nose, mouth, etc., rinse immediately with plenty of clean water before seeking immediate medical attention at the nearest health facility for proper treatment.
Dispose of excess material in accordance with local regulations.
