Applications
System:
- Firstly, all defects and honeycomb in surfaces must be treated by BestBond. To a smooth surface that is solid and medium roughness can be applied as:
- One layer of BestPrimer EP702 with rate: 0.20 ÷ 0.25 kg/m2
- Two layers of BestCoat EP705 with rate: 0.20 ÷ 0.25 kg/m2
- It could be applied greater than these layers depending on the request of each project.
Conditional surface:
- The application surface must be met compressive strength:
≥
20 MPa, Tensile strength:
≥
1.5 Mpa. Locked water-permeable and removed dirty particles, dusty before application.
Mixing:
- A and B are mixed slowly at speed (300
÷
400 rpm). The minimum mixing time is 05 minutes and is longer until reaching the required homogeneity.
- Take the mixtures for about 05 minutes then stir again before application.
Application:
- Use a brush or short roller or pressure sprayer to apply with a rate, not over 0.40 kg/m2
- The application area must be clean, with no dust, and no contamination.
Note:
- Do not use a mixture that is out of working time.
Cleaning:
- Use water and soap to clean equipment immediately after the execution.
Safety:
- Both components are nontoxic and nonflammable. However, one should wear a comforter, gloves, and protective glasses.
In case of accidental eye contact, wash with fresh water and seek medical advice immediately.

Application instruction
COATING SYSTEM:
For surfaces with defects or honeycomb voids, they must be treated with specialized BestBond epoxy mortars before applying BestCoat EP705. For flat, solid surfaces with medium roughness, the standard coating system includes:
01 layer of BestPrimer EP702 primer with a coverage rate of 0.20 ÷ 0.25 kg/m²
02 layers of BestCoat EP705 topcoat with a coverage rate of 0.20 ÷ 0.25 kg/m²
However, depending on the specific requirements of each project, each construction, and each intended use, the number of coating layers may be increased as needed.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
The application surface must meet the minimum strength (compressive strength: ≥ 20 MPa, tensile strength: ≥ 1.5 MPa). The surface must be treated to prevent water penetration, and all impurities and dirt must be removed as required before application.
MIXING:
Before application, components A and B must be thoroughly mixed in the correct ratio using an electric mixer or a pneumatic mixer with a speed of 300-400 rpm. The minimum mixing time is 5 minutes, but mixing may be longer until the required homogeneity is achieved.
Let the material stand for 5 minutes and mix again before application.
APPLICATION:
It can be applied with a brush, short-bristle roller, or pressure spray. The application rate must not exceed 0.40 kg/m² in all cases.
The application area must be well-ventilated, clean, and dust-free.
Note:
When dividing the paint into smaller portions, stir component B thoroughly before weighing.
Do not use paint that has exceeded its working time and has cured.
CLEANING:
Clean tools immediately with soap and water after use and before the paint cures.
SAFETY:
Neither component is hazardous or flammable. However, for safety reasons, gloves, a mask, and safety glasses must be worn during application.
If the paint comes into contact with eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water before seeking immediate medical attention at the nearest healthcare facility.
