BestCoat EP607

Coating system:

• 01 primer layer of BestPrimer EP601, BestPrimer EP602 or BestPrimer EP603.
• 01 self-levelling layer of BestCoat EP607 with the thickness as design required.
  

Substrate requirement:

• To concrete surface: Compressive strength: ≥ 20 MPa, tensile strength: ≥ 1.5 MPa. Surface should be flat, solid, dry. The cracks, defective location must be treated, repaired, patched as required.
• Impurities, broken pieces, dirt, grease ... must be cleaned completely.
  

Mixing:

• Pour part B into part A with the correct ratio. Use an electric mixer or special blender at low speed (300÷400 rpm) to mix material about 03 minutes or longer until material is homogeneous.
• Note: If need to split quantity of material, should stir part A before weight.
  

Application:

• Pour the mixed mixture onto the corresponding surface area to each parallel rows with width 200 ÷ 300 mm, using a jagged scraper to spread out materials according to the thicknes required. Using a notched roller to support the leveling and get rid of air bubbles.
• Note: While the mixture is not hardening, the application space should be no dust, avoid insects.
  

Cleaning:

• Clean tools, equipments with dry cloth and BestThinner SC01 before hardening.
  

Safety:

• Product is non toxic, non flammable. However, this product can be allergic to skin, therefore should be prevented from direct contact to skin. It is advised to wear comforter, gloves, protective glasses while handling the product. In case of accidental eye contact, wash with fresh water and seek medical advice immediately.
  

• Low viscosity, high self-leveling and gloss.
• Allow application with thickness about 1.0 mm.
• Meet the requirement of standard: GMP, HACCP.
• Resistance to chemical, impaction, mechanical abrasion and heavy load bearing.
• Easy to clean, wash, repair…while using.
• Friendly to environment.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

• For concrete substrates, the minimum compressive strength must be ≥ 20 MPa and tensile strength ≥ 1.5 MPa. The substrate must be level, sound, and dry (maximum moisture content 4%).

• Cracks and defective areas must be repaired in accordance with proper procedures. All contaminants, debris, dust, oil, grease, etc. must be completely removed.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Coating system:

• One coat of suitable epoxy or polyurethane BestPrimer depending on substrate moisture condition.

• One self-leveling coat of BestCoat EP607 at the thickness specified in the design.

Mixing:

• Add component B into component A according to the specified ratio. Use an electric mixer or suitable mixing equipment (300–400 rpm) to mix for approximately 3 minutes or longer until a homogeneous mixture is achieved.

Note: When dividing into smaller batches, stir component A thoroughly before weighing.

Application:

• Pour the mixed material onto the corresponding floor area in parallel strips with a width of 200–300 mm, then use a suitable notched rake to spread the material evenly to the required thickness.

• Use a specialized spike roller to assist self-leveling and eliminate all entrapped air bubbles.

Note: The application area must remain dust-free and protected from insects until the material has fully cured.

CLEANING

• Clean tools before curing using a dry cloth and BestThinner SC01.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• BestCoat EP607 may cause irritation to sensitive skin upon prolonged contact. Wear protective gloves, masks, and safety goggles during application.

• In case of contact with eyes, nose, mouth, etc., rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention at the nearest healthcare facility.

• Avoid contact of the product with food and household utensils. Keep out of reach of children.

• Dispose of excess material in accordance with local regulations.
