BestCoat EP605
Solvent Based Epoxy Coating, Two Components
Advantages:
Bonds well with all high-moisture surfaces (relative humidity up to 8%).
Resistant to chemicals, carbonation and high mechanical abrasion.
Fast strength development, allowing the structure to be put into use sooner.
High coverage, making it economical and cost-saving.
Withstands scrubbing, easy to clean, resistant to microorganisms and mold, etc.
Environmentally friendly, contains no harmful agents.
Notably does not pollute domestic water sources.
Easy to apply with common tools such as brushes, short-nap rollers and pressure spray guns, etc.
Long workable time.
Easy to recognize the sign that the workable time has ended.

Applications
Used to create final surface coatings with high resistance to abrasion, water penetration and chemicals, bearing light to medium loads, such as factory floors, garages, warehouses, etc.
BestCoat EP605 can be applied directly onto concrete, cement render, fiber-cement cladding panels, epoxy mortar and metal surfaces, etc.

Application instruction
Surface preparation:
The substrate must reach the minimum strength (compressive strength ≥ 20 MPa, tensile strength ≥ 1.5 MPa). The surface must be treated to block water penetration; impurities and dust must be removed as required before application.
Coating system:
Defective or honeycombed surfaces must be treated with dedicated BestBond-line epoxy mortars before applying BestCoat EP605.
For flat, dense surfaces with medium roughness, the standard coating system consists of:
One primer coat of BestPrimer EP602 at: 0.15 ÷ 0.20 kg/m².
Two finish coats of BestCoat EP605 at: 0.10 ÷ 0.15 kg/m².
However, depending on the specific requirements of each item, project and intended use, the number of coats may be increased as required.
Mixing:
Add component A into component B at the specified ratio. Use an electric mixer or a dedicated mixing machine (300 to 400 rpm) to mix the material for about 2 minutes or longer until the mixture is homogeneous. Let the material stand for about 03 minutes and re-mix before application.
Application:
Can be applied with a brush, short-nap roller or pressure spray gun. The application rate must not exceed 0.40 kg/m² in any case. The work area must be well-ventilated, clean and dust-free.
Notes:
When subdividing into smaller portions, stir component B well before weighing.
Do not use paint that has exceeded its workable time and has already cured.
Cleaning:
Use water and soap to clean tools immediately after use and before the paint cures.
Safety guidance:
Both components are non-hazardous and non-flammable. However, to ensure safe conditions, gloves, a mask and safety goggles must be worn during application.
If splashed into the eyes, nose or mouth, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water several times before going to the nearest medical facility for timely and proper treatment.
