Applications
Coating
system:
To defect and honeycomb surfaces should be treated by the epoxy mortar of BestBond products before applying BestCoat EP605. To smooth the surface, solid and medium roughness can be applied as follows:
- 01 primer layer: BestPrimer EP602 with rate: 0.20 ÷ 0.25 kg/m2
- 02 coating layers: BestCoat EP605 with rate: 0.20 ÷ 0.25 kg/m2
However, the layer can be applied more depending on the request of each
item, work or purpose.
Conditional
surface:
- Application surface should be met the minimum strength (Compressive strength: ≥ 20 MPa, Tensile strength: ≥ 1.5 MPa). The surface should be locked water-permeable and removed dirty particles, dusty before application.
Mixing:
- Before application, two components A and B should be properly mixed under the right ratio by slowly stirring (at speed of 300 ÷ 400 rpm).
- The minimum mixing duration should not be less than 05 minutes and can be
longer until reaching the required homogeneity. Take the mixtures for about
05 minutes then stir again before application.
Application:
- Use a brush or short roller or pressure sprayer to apply with rate not over 0.40 kg/m2 in any case. The application area should be peaceful, clean, no dust.
- Note:
Do not use mixtures over time to apply and get hardening.
Cleaning:

Use water and soap to clean equipment immediately after the execution and
before the mixture’s hardening.
Safety:
- Both components are nontoxic and nonflammable. However, one should wear a comforter, gloves, and protective glasses while handling the product.
- In case of accidental eye contact, wash with fresh water and seek medical
advice immediately.

Application instruction
CHUẨN BỊ BỀ MẶT:
Bề mặt phải đạt được cường độ tối thiểu (cường độ nén: ≥ 20 MPa, cường độ kéo: ≥ 1.5 MPa).
HỆ THỐNG PHỦ:
Đối với bề mặt bị khiếm khuyết hoặc rỗ tổ ong phải xử lý bằng các loại vữa epoxy dòng BestBond chuyên dụng trước khi thi công BestCoat EP605. Đối với bề mặt phẳng, đặc chắc và có độ nhám trung bình thì hệ thống phủ chuẩn bao gồm:
Một lớp lót BestPrimer EP602 với định mức: 0,20 ÷ 0,25 kg/m²
Hai lớp phủ BestCoat EP605 với định mức: 0,20 ÷ 0,25 kg/m²
Tuy nhiên, tùy theo yêu cầu cụ thể của từng hạng mục, từng công trình, từng mục đích sử dụng...có thể số lớp phủ sẽ tăng thêm theo yêu cầu.
ĐIỀU KIỆN BỀ MẶT:
Bề mặt thi công phải đạt cường độ tối thiểu (cường độ nén: ≥ 20 MPa, cường độ kéo: ≥ 1.5 MPa). Bề mặt phải được xử lý chận nước thẩm thấu & các tạp chất, bụi bẩn phải loại bỏ đúng yêu cầu trước khi thi công.
TRỘN:
Trước khi thi công, hai thành phần A và B phải được trộn kỹ theo đúng tỷ lệ bằng máy trộn điện hoặc cần trộn vận hành bằng khí nén có tốc độ 300 ÷ 400 vòng/phút.
Thời gian trộn tối thiểu là 5 phút nhưng có thể trộn lâu hơn cho đến khi đạt được độ đồng nhất đúng yêu cầu. Để vật liệu trong khoảng 05 phút và trộn lại trước khi thi công.
THI CÔNG:
Có thể thi công bằng cọ, ru-lô lông ngắn hoặc vòi phun áp lực. Định mức thi công không được vượt quá 0.40 kg/m² trong mọi trường hợp. Khu vực thi công phải thông thoáng, sạch sẽ, không phát sinh bụi.
Lưu ý:
Khi cần chia nhỏ, phải khuấy đều thành phần B trước khi thi công.
Không sử dụng phần sơn đã hết thời gian thi công và bắt đầu đóng rắn.
VỆ SINH:
Dùng nước và xà phòng làm sạch dụng cụ ngay lập tức sau khi sử dụng và trước khi sơn đóng rắn.
AN TOÀN:
Cả hai thành phần không thuộc loại nguy hiểm, dễ cháy. Tuy nhiên để đảm bảo điều kiện an toàn, khi thi công cần phải mang găng tay, khẩu trang, kính bảo hộ.
Trường hợp bị rơi vào mắt, mũi, miệng … phải rửa ngay bằng nước sạch nhiều lần trước khi đến cơ quan y tế nơi gần nhất để được điều trị kịp thời và đúng phương pháp. Đổ bỏ vật liệu thừa phải đúng nơi quy định của địa phương
