BestBond EP759

BestBond EP759 is used in special applications in wet areas, newly poured concrete (after 24 hours), or areas where drying is not possible or effective moisture control is not feasible, such as basement floors and walls, reservoirs, drainage ditches, swimming pools, old factory floor surfaces, warehouses, garages, etc.

• Excellent adhesion to all surfaces, whether highly humid or damp.

• High penetration allows for deep bonding within the material.

• High resistance to erosion, chemicals, and abrasion.

• Easy to apply using readily available tools such as brushes, short-bristle rollers, and pressure sprayers.

• Non-toxic and environmentally friendly.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

• Concrete must achieve compressive strength: ≥ 20 MPa, tensile strength: ≥ 1.5 MPa. The substrate surface must be level, sound, and free from standing water; any ponded areas must be wiped dry with a clean cloth. Contaminants, debris, dust, grease, moss, mold... must be cleaned properly in accordance with requirements.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Bonding system:

• For highly absorbent and weak/chalky surfaces: 0.20 ÷ 0.25 kg/m².

• For sound surfaces with medium roughness: 0.15 ÷ 0.20 kg/m².

• For steel-troweled smooth surfaces: surface roughening treatment and water cleaning should be carried out before applying BestBond EP759.

Mixing:

• Pour Component A into Component B, use a slow-speed mixing paddle (300 ÷ 400 rpm) to mix until the blend becomes homogeneous, allow the mixture to stand for about 5 minutes, then remix before application.

Application:

• Use a pressure spray nozzle, short-nap roller, or stiff-bristle brush to firmly apply BestBond EP759 over the entire bonding surface at the required coverage rate (depending on surface condition). Wait until the BestBond EP759 layer becomes transparent (but is still wet) before applying the subsequent topping material.

Note:

• If the BestBond EP759 bonding coat becomes dry (no longer tacky to the touch), a new coat must be reapplied before placing the topping material to ensure proper bond strength between the two layers.

• Do not use material that has exceeded its allowable working time.

CLEANING:

• Use clean water and soap for cleaning before the mixture cures.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

• Both components are non-hazardous and non-flammable.

• Component B may cause allergic reactions on sensitive skin after prolonged contact. Gloves, masks, and safety goggles should be worn during application.

• In case of contact with eyes, nose, mouth... rinse immediately several times with clean water before going to the nearest medical facility for timely and proper treatment.
