Surface preparation

• The surface must be clean, free from standing water, and free from easily peeling contaminants.

• Dust and burrs must be removed using suitable mechanical tools, for example a sandblasting machine.

• Steel reinforcement and starter bolts must be cleaned of rust and dust using a wire brush or sandblasting.

Mixing

• Before application, Components A and B must be thoroughly mixed at the correct ratio.

• Use an electric mixer or a pneumatic mixing paddle at a speed of 300-600 rpm.

• The minimum mixing time is 03 minutes; mixing may continue longer until the mixture reaches the required homogeneity and uniform color.

Application

• After mixing, use a stiff brush or a short-nap roller to firmly apply the mixture onto the cleaned and prepared old concrete surface.

• For damp surfaces, ensure there is no standing water and that the surface is completely covered with BestBond EP752.

• Pour the new concrete while the BestBond EP752 layer is still wet and has not yet cured.

Cleaning

• Use water and soap to clean tools immediately after use and before the mixture begins to cure.

• If the material has cured, tools can only be cleaned using suitable mechanical methods.

Safety

• Both components are non-hazardous; however, they may cause skin allergies upon prolonged contact.

• Gloves, masks, and safety goggles should be worn during application.

• If the product splashes into the eyes or mouth, rinse immediately with water and go to the nearest medical facility for timely treatment.
