SURFACE PREPARATION:

Surface requirements:

• Concrete floors must be cured for at least 28 days.

• Concrete floors must be treated with waterproofing protection against moisture vapor and hydrostatic pressure.

• The concrete substrate must be flat, dense, dry, with maximum surface moisture content of 4%.

Surface condition:

• Remove oil and grease using BestThinner SC01 and wipe clean with a dry cloth.

• Remove all cement laitance, adhered mortar, or loose concrete by grinding or chiseling. Shot blasting is recommended to achieve a suitable roughened surface profile.

• Use suitable BestBond repair materials to repair holes, cracks, and minor surface defects.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Mixing:

• Use a low-speed electric mixer or mixing paddle at 300 – 400 rpm to pre-mix Component A until homogeneous.

• Mix Component A with Component B for at least 3 minutes or longer until the required uniform consistency is achieved.

Application:

• Before application, ensure that the substrate moisture content is below 4.0%.

• If the moisture content is above 4.0%, BestSeal EP760 may be used as a temporary moisture barrier.

• After mixing, immediately pour the material onto the prepared substrate and apply using a brush, roller, or rubber squeegee, then back-roll in a perpendicular direction.

• Two primer coats may be applied if necessary.

CLEANING:

• Use a dry cloth to clean tools and equipment, then wash again with BestThinner SC01 before the material hardens.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

• The product may cause allergic reactions to sensitive skin after prolonged contact. Protective gloves, masks, and safety goggles should be worn during application.

• In case of contact with eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water several times before seeking treatment at the nearest medical facility for timely and proper care.

• Dispose of excess material in accordance with local regulations.
