BestBond EP50 is a two-component epoxy bonding compound with low viscosity and high penetration capability. It is formulated from epoxy resin combined with specialized additives for injection and filling of holes, voids, cavities, and structural cracks in various substrates.
Due to its very low viscosity, the material can deeply penetrate and completely fill fine cracks, creating a strong bond and restoring the load-bearing capacity of the structure.

Applications
It is used for:
Injection and filling of holes, voids, and cavities.
Bonding and fixing steel reinforcement plates.
Filling gaps around anchor bolts caused by improper grouting.
Treating cold joints between discontinuous grout pours.
Repairing cracks and fractures in concrete, natural stone, ceramics, and other rigid materials in heavily loaded structures.
This product is also used for repairing hairline cracks and as a protective sealing material for steel structural components such as anchor bases.

Application instruction
SURFACE PREPARATION:
The crack surfaces must be clean, dry (surface moisture not exceeding 4%), and free from loose contaminants. Dust and weak particles must be removed by suitable mechanical preparation methods.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Mixing:
Before application, Components A and B must be thoroughly mixed in the correct ratio using an electric mixer or pneumatic mixing paddle operating at 300 – 400 rpm.
Mixing time should be approximately 3 minutes or longer until a completely homogeneous mixture is achieved.
Application:
Use BestBond EP751 to seal and fix the injection ports and to seal the bottom surface of cracks (if any) or the openings of voids in order to prevent leakage and ensure the injected material fully fills the entire crack or cavity volume.
Use an automatic injection gun or specialized high-pressure injection pump to inject the material until completely filled.
BestBond EP50 will achieve full curing after 07 days from the date of application.
Depending on specific site conditions, other suitable application methods may also be adopted.
Note:
To extend the workable pot life of the product, after mixing the two components, it is recommended to divide the mixture into several smaller portions.
The smaller each divided portion is, the longer the workable time of the material, thereby reducing the risk of unwanted premature hardening.
CLEANING:
Use BestThinner SC01 to clean tools immediately after use and before the mixture begins to harden.
Then wash again with clean water and soap.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
The product is flammable; keep away from heat sources and open flames, and ensure good ventilation during application.
The product may cause allergic reactions to sensitive skin after prolonged contact. Protective gloves, masks, and safety goggles should be worn during use.
If the product splashes into eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water several times before going to the nearest medical facility for prompt and proper treatment.
