BestBond BT050

BestBond BT050 is used for applications such as:

• Waterproofing primer for bitumen waterproofing membranes.

• Waterproofing layer for load-bearing structures.

• One-component, easy to apply with brush, roller, or spray, cost-effective.

  Good adhesion and crack-filling ability.

  Adheres well to a variety of surfaces: concrete, plaster, asbestos, metal, wood, etc.

  Can be applied to both old and new structures.

  Solvent-free, odorless, environmentally friendly.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

• The surface must be completely free from dust, mud, oil, grease, moss, algae, and mold.

• All defects and cracks must be properly repaired using appropriate methods. The application surface may be dry or damp, but no standing water is allowed on the surface.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Application:

• Stir the product thoroughly before application.

• If used as a primer coat, add the predetermined amount of clean water and mix well. If used as a top coating, simply stir thoroughly before application.

• The primer coat can be applied by brush, roller, or spray machine. In the case of porous and highly absorbent substrates, the surface must be saturated with water before application, but no standing water is allowed.

• Apply the next coat only after the previous coat has completely dried.

Notes:

• Do not dilute the product with any materials other than clean water.

• BestBond BT050 is not UV-resistant; therefore, exposed surfaces such as flat roofs must be protected immediately after application with a UV-reflective coating or a protective cement mortar layer.

• Use up the product after opening the container.

• The waterproofing performance of BestBond BT050 is effective only after the waterproofing membrane has completely dried.

CLEANING:

• Clean tools and application equipment with clean water and soap while the product is still wet, or with solvent after the product has dried.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

• The product is solvent-free and non-flammable.

• Wear protective clothing, gloves, and safety goggles when using the product.

• Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

• In case of contact with eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water several times before seeking medical attention at the nearest healthcare facility for timely and proper treatment.
