BestBase EP700

It is used for flooring on concrete or metal substrates in areas requiring high load-bearing capacity, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, crack resistance, and tear resistance, such as:

• Laboratories, operating rooms, sterile rooms, testing facilities, hospitals.
  Pharmaceutical and veterinary production plants.
  Food processing plants, seafood and agricultural processing facilities.
  Electronics, automotive, optical, and precision equipment manufacturing plants.
  Chemical plants, disinfectant production facilities, kitchens, daycare centers, garages, etc.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

• The substrate must meet the minimum strength requirements (compressive strength ≥ 20 MPa, tensile strength ≥ 1.5 MPa).

• The surface must be level, sound, and dry (maximum moisture content of 4%). All contaminants, debris, and dust must be properly cleaned.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Coating system:

• Apply one coat of BestPrimer EP701, BestPrimer EP702, or BestPrimer EP703 depending on substrate moisture condition.

• Apply one layer of BestBase EP700 with the required thickness.

• Apply 1 or 2 coats of BestCoat EP704, BestCoat EP705, BestCoat EP706, or one coat of BestCoat EP707, BestCoat EP708, BestCoat EP709 with the required thickness.

Mixing:

• Add component A into a suitable forced-action mortar mixer, then add component B and mix for about 3 minutes. Gradually add component C while the mixer is running and continue mixing until a homogeneous mixture is achieved (approximately 5 minutes or longer).

Application:

• Apply a bonding layer of BestBond EP754 onto the primed surface. Then pour the mixed BestBase EP700. Use a trowel, rake, or screed to evenly spread the material. Finish the surface using a power trowel.

Note: Do not use material that has exceeded its pot life.

CLEANING:

• Use a dry cloth and BestThinner SC-01 to clean tools and equipment before the material cures.

SAFETY:

• The product is not classified as hazardous or flammable. However, protective gloves, masks, and safety goggles are recommended during application.

• In case of contact with eyes, nose, mouth, etc., rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention at the nearest healthcare facility.
