History
In 1999, Mr. Dang Van Thạch, an experienced chemical engineer, used his expertise gained as a technical manager at a leading concrete batching plant in Ho Chi Minh City to bring his entrepreneurial vision to life. At that time, Vietnam’s construction chemical industry was dominated by foreign organizations. Recognizing the potential of this emerging industry, Mr. Thạch launched his vision into a reality, a Vietnamese-owned construction chemical manufacturer focusing on the specific needs of local builders and contractors. Along with his partners, he delivered the highest-quality, tailored solutions that understood these localised challenges.
Sieu Cuong Corporation® was founded on March 30, 1999, by Mr. Dang Van Thạch, his wife Mrs. Ngo Thi Kim Loan, and two partners, to create a strong Vietnamese rival to foreign brands. Beginning with exterior and interior putties, the company grew alongside Vietnam’s flourishing construction sector to become a leading local manufacturer. To keep this vision alive and fulfill new market and foreign investment opportunities, Mr. Thạch established Bestmix Corporation®, as Sieu Cuong’s successor. The name, Bestmix, conveys our philosophy of delivering the best mixture of people, products and service.
Milestones
Sieu Cuong Corporation Founded
Recognizing the opportunities in Vietnam’s booming construction markets, Mr Dang Van Thạch and his wife, Mrs. Ngo Thi Kim Loan, and with the support of two friends, opened the Sieu Cuong corporation. The company's debut products were a line of interior and exterior putties.
First Standardized Factory Built
Sieu Cuong moved the production facility to a new factory in District 9 (now Thu Duc City), added 30 workers and established an office in Go Vap District.
Bestmix Corporation Established and Binh Duong Factory Opened
Bestmix Corporation was founded in response to the increased demand from overseas investors and the domestic market. It relocated its operations to a modern factory in Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park, Binh Duong Province. Production capacity increased significantly and the product line extended to over 50 items, including bonding and repair solutions.
Expansion to Northern and Central Vietnam
New branches were established in Da Nang and Hanoi to reach increased local needs. A central warehouse was set up in Da Nang to streamline distribution and scale operations. By this time, Bestmix products were available in 150 stores nationwide.
Continuing Growth and Global Reach
Bestmix’s offerings expanded to more than 180 solutions to cater to the entire range of the construction landscape. A new branch in Nha Trang was opened and construction began on a new factory in northern Vietnam. Bestmix also went international; with products being utilized to great success in Mongolia, Cambodia, Australia and New Zealand. Along with many new B2B initiatives, delivery to the highest standards for both domestic and export customers continues without fail.
